Red Door.

DRESS - PRIMARK | SHOES - PRIMARK | BAG* - MAXWELL SCOTT | NECKLACE - RINGS & TINGS

Red is my favourite colour. It's the colour of passion, love, excitement and energy. It reminds me of persistence, perseverance and strength. Something i've been needing a lot of lately, but more on that in a separate (and very wordy) post. There's just something about Red that I love and it's probably one of the reasons why a red lip will forever be a staple for me! This Primark dress is an oldie but most definitely a goodie. By some miracle it's lasted over a year without falling apart and it has become a summer favourite of mine again!

Short Shorts!

TOP - PRIMARK | SHORTS & TOTE* - A CAT CALLED ESTEBAN VINTAGE | TRAINERS* - SURFDOME | HAT - NEW LOOK

A few years ago, the only thing you'd find me wearing were some Levi cut off's and a selection of moth bitten vintage jumpers, Exhibit A if you don't believe me! How things change! Obviously for the better in this case aha! But it seems i'm slowly drifting back into that easygoing sense of dressing, well for the summer at least. Because it's mostly cold here, i'm so used to layering up and dressing for warmth that I never quite know what to wear when the sun comes out. Cat Called Esteban Vintage sent me a pair of Levi Cut Off's as well as a super cute Tote (Oh I do love a good tote!) and asked to style it up, and with the weather hitting a sweltering 23 degrees, I thought it was best to go simple and comfortable!
P.S. Am I the only one who finds it hard to let go of wearing tights, even if the weather is seventh circle of hell type hot?

I Wear My Heart On My Collar.

JUMPER - ASOS | SKIRT - VINTAGE | BAG* - MAXWELL SCOTT | SHOES - OFFICE | LIPSTICK - "ROYAL" BY TOPSHOP

Oh I do love a good collar! And this one is no exception! It has hearts on it. HEARTS. How absolutely perfect! And it was a steal in the ASOS clearance sale (which I highly recommend browsing by the way!). I'll keep todays rambling short and very sweet as I'm in the midst of packing and about to be buried alive under a mound of clothes and shoes! Have a lovely week everyone!

Kitschy!

TURTLENECK - CHARITY SHOP | SKIRT* - CAT CALLED ESTEBAN VINTAGE | SOCKS - TOPSHOP | CREEPERS - UNDERGROUND | TOTE - LAZY OAF | EARRINGS* - SOUR CHERRY

No, I am not going crazy! These pictures were from a few weeks ago when it was rainy and a tad chilly! A turtleneck in this weather would be a complete disaster! But I digress, sometimes throwing things together when you're in a rush works out in the weirdest of ways! I wanted to wear this gorgeous vintage ruffled skirt from A Cat Called Esteban Vintage for a small lunch with friends but i didn't know what to wear it with. Everything seemed to dressy or too casual, but i think i hit a happy medium with this stripy turtleneck, come to think of it, I wish I had paired it with my black turtleneck instead but oh well! I decided to go black-girl-meets-cyndi-lauper and threw on some cute flamingo earrings by Sour Cherry and my favourite glittery Topshop socks. Sometimes, a girl just wants to have fun! (See what i did there?!)

Premium.

JUMPER* - MDILDN | SKIRT - VINTAGE | BOOTS - ZARA | PHONECASE* - SKINNYDIP LONDON

After about a months absence from the blogging scene and social media in general (except for Instagram of course) I have returned! And i've finally finished University! I'll have a proper update post on that in a few days. Because of deadlines and far too many all-nighters in studio, I haven't had much time to post, or wear nice things and I more or less lived in onesies and the ugliest but most comfortable clothing ever during my hand in's, so now that i'm free and have a little more time to 'be myself', i'm taking full advantage of it. The fine folk over at MDILDN asked to see how i'd style their 'Premium' jumper and here it is, i actually wore this jumper for a good two weeks on and off (not everyday!) because it's so comfortable and easy to throw on and dress up or down!

My beloved photographer pal Marcos has gone back to Spain (boo!) so my blog photos will look a little different in the next few weeks as I hunt for another person to beg to take my outfit posts! :( Blog photos will never been the same without you Marcos!
