THE ‘VICTORIANA’ TREND

Trans-seasonal pieces are wardrobe staples for me. Most of my dresses can be worn both in the warmer months and in the colder months, and i’ve been much more careful with what i have in my wardrobe, as i’m trying to build a good collection of quality pieces that will last. Dressing for the colder months without turning into a giant icicle is tricky, and i’ve yet to truly perfect the fine art of balancing comfort with style when it’s cold. A good solid coat in a strong colour is probably one of the best things to have in your wardrobe, and this 70’s style coat, is seeing me through the crisp Autumnal mornings and frosty evenings up here in Liverpool.

My dress style is usually always in the darker colour range, but i couldn’t help myself when i saw this Victoriana Style Dress, the detailing on it is just so beautiful and i loved that i could wear it during the day with some knee high boots, and wear it with some pointed heels and a leather jacket for the evening. I’m proud of myself for managing to pull of over the knee boots without getting too ‘Pretty Woman’ up in here! I would say though if you’re thinking of purchasing these boots, to size up! As much as i love them, they come up quite small! Hope everyone is having a superb week, things have been awesome on my front, my crits have gone so well, i’m fairly on top of work, and i’m making friends and killing it in the gym #teamgains2k16 haha!
